Equipment

  • Slow Cooker or Crock Pot

Ingredients

  • 1 chicken (carcus) bones
  • 4 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 2 Celery Stalks
  • 2 Carrots
  • 1 Onion Medium
  • 2 tsp Minced Garlic
  • 2 tbsp Parsley
  • Water Cover the bones with water
  • Pink Himalayan Sea Salt

Instructions

  • I use a Chicken Carcus from a Rotisserie Chicken that we usually buy from Costco, Sam's Club, or Fresh Thyme. We eat the chicken first and then use the bones to make the bone broth.
I add a Pink Himalayan Sea Salt a little at a time to make it saltier because we like the taste, but also when doing Keto you need more salt.
You will also need to add more water as time goes on because it will boil down. Add water to cover the bones.
Approximately 24-36 hours later turn the crockpot off and let the bone broth cool. Place it in glass jars or bottles. We usually get 3 (16oz) bottles of bone broth. There are 2 of us so we get about 24 oz each and it will last about 3 days if we drink 8 oz per day.
